Nailsea cancer survivor Helen Hamblin has said more money should be spent on helping people cope with the aftermath of traumatic illness.

She said, “I had one appointment with someone but that was it and I felt I had to just get on with it. I needed someone to listen and there was no-one.” 

The government has agreed to spend an extra £20billion a year on NHS services but we need to hear from real people about where the local share 0f this money should be spent.
