Volunteers' Week - thanks Tim
Thank you to our volunteer and Director Tim who is keen to raise the profile of Healthwatch wherever he goes. He loves going to hospital meetings and has attended a lot over the last eight years - with the most recent streaming on YouTube!
Thanks Tim, your passion for Healthwatch and speaking up for patients is inspiring.
Tim has recently asked for Healthwatch to be represented on the newly merged University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust which will be considered soon.
He said: “As a Director of Healthwatch, I take a keen interest in all the hospitals in the BNSSG area we represent. I have been on the Weston board for over eight years and have developed a great love for it. I believe very strongly in giving a voice to those who need to be heard, it’s very important for me that everyone, no matter who they are, has a part to play in health care and through Healthwatch that can be achieved.”
