Our next digital event
We are delighted that Harbourside Family Practice in Portishead has asked us to help them with running a digital awareness event on December 3 from 10am-12pm and we hope further events can follow.
If you feel you would need a bit of support to use online health services please come along and meet our Healthwatch team Vicky and Anne. Please show your interest by contacting the surgery in advance.
Over the summer we talked to 175 people at 11 events in North Somerset between May and September – which included running digital drop-ins at a health centre and the IT hub in Nailsea.
It was a learning curve for Healthwatch to both equip ourselves with the latest digital know-how and spread the word on these events – so the public could access the help they need to login and get started.
Our team gave a presentation about how we helped get people online at the Healthwatch #2019 Conference – and asked for their views on how to improve our project in the future.
