We enjoyed meeting two groups, The North Somerset Black Minority Ethnic (BME) Network and The Speaking Up Group run by Weston College and North Somerset People First.

We were delighted with your input for our #WhatWouldYouDoSurvey?

The BME Network has been around for more than 10 years and aims to provide support for people if they encounter prejudice or difficulties in their daily life. The Speaking Up Group is a meeting point for people with learning disabilities and autism and a place to discuss sometimes difficult issues in their lives such as hate crime, visiting the job centre, benefits, health issues,  and accessing local services.

We need your views

We welcomed the public to our AGM on October 29th with two speakers from Sirona and North Somerset Council’s Public Health department.
Sirona already runs the South Gloucestershire service and will cover Bristol and North Somerset too from April next year.
