The Department of Health & Social Care, NHS England and Health Education England have recently commissioned a new report into improving children and young people’s mental health services.

Improving mental health support for children and young people

Children and young people told us they needed better mental health support in schools. We identified that there were gaps in service provision. Now, Mental Health Support Teams are being introduced to secondary schools across the local area.
