Healthwatch North Somerset AGM 2018

We always get good feedback about our events and our AGM is no different – this year we have changed our focus slightly and have asked Dr Andrew Burnett, the Interim Director for Public Health in North Somerset, to talk about interventions and the importance of self-help in improving health. 

This is an important topic at the moment and central to the local Clinical Commissioning Group and Healthier Together plans.

We have also invited Stafania Rulli, Team Leader for the Community Connect service and Jenny Tungate, Youth Inclusion Support, intervention-in-action  to provide on the ground perspectives of intervention-in-action for older people and for younger people.  It will be a very interesting and informative meeting – don’t miss it, you will be made very welcome.

Shielding letters have been sent out to those the Government consider extremely vulnerable. It contains information for them, family and their carers.
Advice and Information
