All aboard the Healthwatch bus

The Healthwatch North Somerset Team have been out and about on the Community MAVIS Bus again.

This time we stopped in Weston Super Mare on Thursday 28th July.  We were joined on the bus by The Stroke Association, Alzheimer’s Association, North Somerset Public Health Trainers, Carers Phoenix Trust and North Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group.

 We had a fantastic day and spoke to over 60 people about health and social care in North Somerset.

 Thank you to everyone who supported the event.

We need your views

We welcomed the public to our AGM on October 29th with two speakers from Sirona and North Somerset Council’s Public Health department.
Sirona already runs the South Gloucestershire service and will cover Bristol and North Somerset too from April next year.
